Every week I am stunned at the talent of you ladies out there, and this is a small link up party so far! Do I sound like a broken record now? Â
I just can’t get enough of the eye candy and the inspiration you send me and the many different ideas you all come up with. There were some truly lovely submissions, but one in particular just grabbed my heart and my eyes bugged out. Here it is:
This is from Ella Boo and Co. This is one amazing Redoux Gal.  She found this on the side of the street, and I love the way she described the paint finish as “Baked Bean Brown”
This is what she had to say of the piece:Â
“Ugh. What’s the complete opposite of “swoon”? I knew I could get the paint off, and fix the side but what really stumped me were those strange panels on the front. I really had no idea what to do with this baby. The very next day when I was blog surfing I found Sarah’s Treasure Chest – it could be my dresser’s long lost sister! Sarah’s is stunning and I loved what she had done with it but I was still stumped. I just kept staring at those panels and it finally hit me – I would make them the highlight of the whole piece. “
She really put so much effort into this “redoux”. Stripping, stripping and more stripping, to take it back to its natural beauty and start over with something so much better. Look how she finished it. Â
Oh I want, I want, I want this in my home!!! I am so inspired to create a similar item. Thank you so much for sharing!Â
Please be sure to stop by her blog, while you are there, check out her amazing “Numbered Stairs”
