Weekend Redoux Link Party #57 and Mes Préférés

Mark was giving me a hard time with the name of my link party, said it was getting old, boring, staid.  So I really changed things up (not)!  Anyhow, for the time being, it will be called the Weekend Redoux Link Party.  Much more fitting because after all, it opens Thursday evening (5:00 EST) and runs through the weekend!  Just click the image to get code for your post!

Speaking of weekend, are you as excited about having a three day weekend as Moi?????  We are kid activity commitment free.  (For Now) No Baseball, Volleyball, dance, or the many other things we find ourselves running around with our kids doing on Saturdays.  Hopefully this weekend we will get in a nice hike with family friends, some swimming at our gym (it has a lovely outdoor pool), and a LOT of projects done around here (look away Mark, you don’t have your list yet).

Thank you to everyone who joined in my party, here are a few noteworthy “Redouxs”!

I have to start with my friend Kelly from Eclectically Vintage.  She found this sign at a huge outdoor flea market, and repurposed it for a very out of the box window treatment.  It makes me think of my childhood every time I look at it!!

I love Hating Martha, if you haven’t been to her blog, then you must go, not only is she very talented, she has a hilarious sense of humor.  And, no, she doesn’t really hate Martha.  I love this bench so much, I wish I could find one for my home!  Hilarious that she named it “Gertie the Gossip Bench” too!  Can’t you imagine someone sitting there about 50 years ago, gossiping away on the telephone?

This project has been EVERYWHERE!  And it so deserves to be.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you are in a for a treat.  The Blissful Bee made this amazing Factory Coffee Table cart, HERSELF and even has an awesome tutorial to go with it.

Here is another very popular piece from Leone Design.  Wow, this girl has talent in spades.  I am so in love with this table, I have pinned it and can’t wait to try out something similar.

I love a good slip cover project, and even more if there is an awesome tutorial to go with it.  This project from Cedar Hill Ranch has it all.  Can you believe how perfectly perfect this chair looks?  And!  That is a painters drop cloth.

When I came across this White and Black dresser, with the FRENCH WORDING on it???? Hello???? Be still my heart, I knew I had to feature it, and make one myself.  This from Little Yellow Barn, who has talent in spades!

Now for “Le Rules”
