Are you all in the Christmas spirit now! I have Christmas coming out my ears…..we got the tree last night, and tonight the lights went on. Slow and steady progress in between the craziness of this upcoming weekend at PFM!
No matter how busy we are, everyone keeps creating and sharing. And I love it! Here are some of the highlights from last week’s party:
I HAVE to start off sharing this amazing dining table that my friend Shelly did from A little bit O’ Shizzle. It looks gorgeous now, all set and ready for Christmas guests. But you will not believe what Shelly had to go through to get it this way. It was the furniture from you know where and instead of throwing in the towel, she beat it! And she beat it good. You have to read all about it to see what poor Shelly and her sister endured, but it was worth it in the end!
I love to learn new tips. Did you know you can cover stuff you don’t want paint to get on with aluminum foil???? I used this years ago when painting a door, but I totally forgot about it. I have one of these old stools, I am inspired to finally do something with it! Check out what Atir Inspired Decor did!
I love the new metallic paints I am seeing on the market. I have seen some metallic furniture around too, and I especially love this side table from Createinspire. It looks so cool!
Do you love Karin from Art is Beauty as much as I do? This woman is a wonder. She comes up with the most inspiring projects, and I have NEVER seen anyone use graphics from the Graphics Fairy like Karin does. I bet almost everyone reading this has one of these stools somewhere around their house or workshop. (I have two). This is the cutest things I have seen done with them to date. LOVE!
And finally, since it is the holidays, it is the season of the Buffet! I so love this Buffet from MakeMePrettyAgain. I am a sucker for buffets like this gal. This piece has so many fun details, and check out the drawer liners! You have to check out the post because she includes a really thorough tutorial. A must see!
