Happy almost weekend friends! The bugs have not left our house, in fact, I think they are taking up permanent residence. Poor Mr. Red, he has had some sort of flu that was on again, off again for three weeks. Just when we thought it was totally gone, he got Strep throat! Needless to say, I am pretty exhausted, and both of us are ready for a break. Let’s cross our fingers that school for him is in our near future…….
Enough with Moi, let’s hear about you!
Have you seen this chair? It is da bomb! I have seen it around and so glad it landed here too. This is from Uniquely Yours or Mine. She took an upholstery class to learn how to do it the proper way. I would say she got an A+!
You know what a Francophile I am. This desk just blows me away. This blogger didn’t just Redoux this gorgeous desk, she added really beautiful hardware to the legs!! I have never seen this done before, and oh my, what a big difference it makes. This is from Between Blue and Yellow, and you just have to hop over there to see the before, and the process.
Do you know what a “Chalkboard Cheater” is? It is someone who is smart enough to make something look like a chalkboard, and the staying stays the same, but without all the work! This is the most GENIUS version of cheating I have seen. You won’t believe what Debra at Common Ground used to cheat on hers!
Speaking of chalkboards, you know how much I love them, and I love Graphics + Chalkboards. From One Creative Couple, they have an amazing tutorial, with links to other tutorials, on how to make this!
It is a Viva la France day! I love this little side table from Vintage Breeze. She gives a great review and step by step with milk paint too. But, to top it off, she added the cutest little French touches. Must see the post to check it all out.
And like all good things, this party must come to an end. “Ceci la fin mes amis”!
