Welcome to Trashy Tuesday! Talking trash is what we do best here.
It’s a two parter! I went Dumpster Diving, and to my first REAL estate sale. I am happy to say, both events were full of trash, junk and good stuff. Dumpster diving I know not to make contact with actual trash if I can avoid at all costs. Not so at the Estate Sale! My hand went right into a plate of greasy half-cooked bacon while I was trying to grab these watering cans and buckets. EWWWWWW!!!!
This was a free to me from the same wonderful reader who gave me this dresser last week! It didn’t make it into the picture roundup, but here it is. Emma even cleaned it up and painted it red today. So cute!
I got plenty of frames this week. One with a super creepy print in it…..I will let you guess which one.
Did you have this book when you were young? I did, and I had a copy for my kids, but I think Mr. Red ate it when he was two. I got my own copy this time.
I love this lamp! It was full of sea shells, which I will do something with next summer. Now I can fill the lamp with something maybe holiday related. I didn’t hear the ocean in the mini conch shells either.
She might be selling sea shells, but not by the seashore.
My favorite find. This sewing stand! I could not believe my good fortune when I opened this at the estate sale and realized it was packed full of all kinds of vintage sewing treasures. My mom was here for a visit this weekend. We had so much fun sorting through all the vintage lace, bias tape, notions and odds and ends.
Speaking of odd and end. This is the end of an odd post.
