Trashy Tuesday, You Don’t Always Get What you Want

Happy Trashy Tuesday!

You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.  -Written by Rolling Stone’ s Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.  By the way…..here is Suffering Husband (aka Mark, my father in law and I on our way to the last RS concert that came through town last Spring)  I definitely got what I wanted, Cajun food and Rolling Stones, not sure I needed it!

This week, I didn’t find what I wanted in the dumpsters but I found what I needed!  Remember this idea from one of my features at my weekend link party ?

I found something today I can use to store all my spindly furniture parts!!

Organizer

Truth be told, I haven’t done much dumpster shopping.  Too busy with Paris Flea Market and the holidays. Plus, it looks like a bomb went off in here.  Someone needs to get in there and clean that up before I can work again. Oh, I guess that someone would be moi.

Messy Work Area

Mad Scientist Bench or my work bench.  Hard to distinguish between the two….

Messy Work bench

In the next few weeks, I will be hopefully emptying this area of misc junk, only the JUNQUE will remain.  My Christmas Dream :)

Hope your week is full of junque and totally trashy!

  11. My boyfriend works some weekends so then has some time off during the week while I’m at work. Yesterday he said he was going to clean and organize. I said, “Ok. But whatever you do, don’t go into the garage.” I don’t even want him to see how bad it is. Ha!

  12. Santa says you’re on the right track – going to concerts instead of trash picking – baby steps! He may just leave an extra candy cane on the tree for you
