Trashy Tuesday, Getting Dumped is Delightful
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Garbage is dumped, furniture is too.
Who likes to be dumped? Well no one, not in the break up sense of the word. That most definitely is not delightful. However, in the world of Redouxers, getting dumped can be delightful! If it weren’t for all the wonderful things that are dumped, we wouldn’t be having so much fun around here. (And my garage and side yard would look a whole lot better).
Sure it’s greasy on top, but hey, has anyone ever heard of a cleaner? Apparently some people just dump and move on when they get tired of their relationship with their furniture and the relationship actually requires some work!
Just like the Dresser that dumped its drawers, I have another sad case on my hands. Won’t it look amazing as a dresser turned bookshelf, painted with some of my favorite CeCe Caldwell’s paints, like I have done Here and Here?
Poor table, first it got a broken foot, then it was unceremoniously dumped. Then I had to go hunting for its missing body part. Lucky me, the foot and table will soon be together again. Reunited and it feels so good. (tell me if you caught this….I will know you are of a certain age)
This desk was a curbside find and a perfect case of someone who felt not worthy of it anymore (or was at least using this an excuse). All the drawers were nicely taped shut and even a piece of protective wood was placed over the top. Obviously someone had a guilt complex about this dumping because they wanted to do the dumping gently and not as harsh as being kicked to the curb.
Thanks for coming by Trashy Tuesday where getting Dumped can be delightful!
